Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BolFlow mobile application and related services (the “Service”), provided by Averix Technology (“we”, “our”, or “us”).

By downloading, installing, creating an account, or using BolFlow, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Who may use BolFlow

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country) to create an account and use BolFlow.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.

2. What BolFlow provides

BolFlow helps you:

• Record speech using a microphone (including via a floating mic bubble in other apps, where permissions allow)
• Convert speech into clear English text using automated speech and language processing
• Insert or copy that English text for use in messaging and other apps
• View limited conversion history (subject to retention rules in the app)
• Access free-tier conversions and optional Premium features via subscription

BolFlow is a productivity tool. It is not a human translator service, legal advisor, medical advisor, or emergency service. Output may contain errors.

3. Account registration

To use certain features you must create an account with:

• Name
• Email address
• Password

You agree to:

• Keep your password confidential
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access
• Not share your account with others

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or appear abusive/fraudulent.

4. Permissions and device features

BolFlow may request Android permissions and system features, including:

• Microphone — to record your voice
• Display over other apps (overlay) — to show the mic bubble
• Accessibility service — to detect text fields and help insert translated text
• Internet — to process audio and sync your account
• Notifications / foreground service — while recording

You control these permissions in Android Settings. If you deny or revoke them, some or all features may not work. You are responsible for how you grant Accessibility and overlay permissions and for using them only for intended BolFlow features.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use BolFlow for anything illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, fraudulent, or deceptive
• Record or process content you do not have the right to record or process
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or abuse the Service or our APIs
• Bypass free-tier limits, paywalls, security, or billing systems
• Upload malware or interfere with other users’ devices or accounts
• Use BolFlow to violate another person’s privacy or rights
• Misrepresent BolFlow output as human-certified professional advice

We may investigate and take action (including suspension) for violations.

6. Voice processing and content accuracy

When you use voice features:

1. Your audio is sent to our servers for processing
2. Third-party AI/speech providers (such as AssemblyAI and related language models) may process the audio/text
3. English text is returned for you to review and use

Important:

• Always review output before sending important messages
• Do not dictate passwords, OTPs, bank details, or highly sensitive secrets
• We do not guarantee perfect transcription, translation, tone, or factual accuracy
• You are solely responsible for how you use the generated text

7. Free trial and Premium subscriptions

Free usage

BolFlow may offer a limited number of free voice conversions (for example, 25 free conversions). Limits may change. When free usage is exhausted, Premium may be required for further voice conversions.

Premium

Premium features (such as unlimited voice conversions, subject to fair use and technical limits) are available through a paid subscription.

Billing

• Payments are processed by Google Play (and related billing partners such as RevenueCat for entitlement checks).
• Prices shown in the app or on Play Store (for example intro pricing and monthly price in INR) are controlled by Google Play listings and may change.
• Subscriptions renew according to Google Play’s terms unless cancelled.
• Refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes are handled primarily through Google Play policies and tools.

Your responsibilities

• Manage or cancel Premium in Google Play Subscriptions.
• Deleting your BolFlow account does not automatically cancel your Google Play subscription.

8. History and data features

• Conversion history may be stored so you can review or recover past results.
• History may be cleared automatically under app rules (for example after a set number of successful recordings) and/or when you delete it.
• Account deletion removes account data and stored history from our databases as described in the Privacy Policy (subject to backups and legal requirements).

9. Intellectual property

• BolFlow’s name, logo, app design, code, and branding are owned by us or our licensors.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
• You retain rights to your own content (your speech and the messages you choose to send).
• By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your audio/text solely to provide and improve BolFlow features.

10. Third-party services and other apps

BolFlow relies on third parties (hosting, databases, speech/AI providers, Google Play, RevenueCat). Their availability and policies can affect BolFlow.

BolFlow may insert text into other apps you choose. We are not responsible for those third-party apps’ behavior, policies, outages, or how they handle pasted/inserted text.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Transcriptions/translations will be accurate or complete
• Defects will be corrected immediately

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or reputational harm
• Our total liability for any claim relating to BolFlow will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Premium in the 3 months before the claim, or (b) INR 1,000

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of BolFlow
• Your content or messages
• Your violation of these Terms or applicable law
• Your misuse of overlay/accessibility permissions

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using BolFlow and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account).

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• You violate these Terms
• We must do so for legal, security, or operational reasons
• The Service is discontinued

Sections that should survive termination (such as IP, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity) will continue to apply.

15. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may update BolFlow features, free limits, pricing displays, and these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when Terms are revised.

If changes are material, we may provide notice in the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.
